Freed Hotel & Residences is a new proposed luxury hotel and condominium coming soon to downtown Toronto by Freed Developments.  It will rise to 63 storeys at 240 Adelaide Street West in Toronto, Ontario which will include approximately 100 five-star luxury hotel rooms and 400 luxury condominium suites.

Freed Hotel & Residences is designed by Smith and Gill Architecture who designed the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in United Arab Emirates as well as the Central Park Tower in New York City.  Interior designer is by award-winning international design studio with over two decades of experience, DesignAgency with clients such as Soho House, Momofuku, MGM Grand and many many more.  Freed Hotel & Residences is located within walking distance to either Osgoode Subway Station or St. Andrew Subway Station.  It is also a short walk to the Roy Thomson Hall, Princess of Wales Theatre and David Pecaut Square.  This luxury building is approximately 4 minutes to OCAD University and 6 minutes to the University of Toronto and the Toronto Metropolitan University.  100 Walk Score, 100 Transit Score and 100 Lifestyle Score.

The Freed Hotel & Residences will also house the first Katsuya Restaurant in Canada by sbe located on the second floor. The Skybar will be located on the 62nd floor and a restaurant (name to be announced) will be located on the 63rd floor of this skyscraper which will have ceiling heights of up to 70 feet.  In the hotel and condo 20 foot lobby, one will be able to see Takashi Murakami‘s artwork entitled,  “Together with the Flower Parent and Child”.

The Freed Hotel is located up to the 11th floor.  Tier 1 residential units featuring 9′ ceilings and Miele appliances will be from the 12th -39th floors ranging in size from 270 to 1858sqft.  Tier 2 residential units will be from the 40th to 49th floors and Tier 3 residential units featuring 9-10′ ceilings and 36″ Miele appliances will be from the 50th to 59th floors ranging in size from 1948sqft to 5963sqft.  The Grand Penthouse will be on the 60th to 61st floors and will be over 6,000sqft in size.

Amenities such as fitness facilities, outdoor pool, co-working space and more will be located on the fifth and sixth floors.  This Five Star Luxury Hotel is located in close proximity to other top luxury hotel & residences in Toronto.  The Freed Hotel & Residences is approximately a 190 metre walk to The Residences at Shangri-La, a 600 metre walk to The Residences at Ritz-Carlton, a 600 metre walk to Bisha Hotel & Residences and a 700 metre walk to The St. Regis Residences.
